Company: JLLLocation: Mumbai, India JOB DESCRIPTION - PROJECT LEADPosition SummaryAs a Project Lead at JLL you will be responsible to oversee interior fitout projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will manage complex commercial interior projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline parameters while upholding JLL's commitment to excellence in commercial real estate services.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead and manage interior fitout projects across various commercial sectors including office spaces, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developmentsDevelop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgetsMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary, identify and manage the risk on the projectEnsure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory complianceCoordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendorsManage project documentation, change orders, and progress reportingTeam LeadershipLead cross-functional project teams including designers, engineers, and contractorsFacilitate effective communication between all stakeholdersConduct regular project meetings and presentationsMentor junior team members and support their professional developmentClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecyclePresent project updates to senior management and clientsManage client expectations and resolve conflicts professionallyBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractorsQuality & ComplianceEnsure all work meets design specifications and industry standardsConduct regular site inspections and quality assessmentsOversee compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standardsImplement best practices for project delivery and risk managementRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior DesignProfessional certifications (PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent) preferredExperience10-12 years of proven experience in interior fitout project managementDemonstrated track record of successfully delivering commercial interior projectsExperience with various project delivery methods (Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, etc.)Knowledge of MEP systems integration in interior environmentsFamiliarity with sustainable design practices and green building standardsTechnical SkillsProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systemsExpertise in cost estimation and budget managementKnowledge of relevant building codes and regulationsCore CompetenciesCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with capacity to present to diverse audiencesProject Management: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLeadership: Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levelsProblem Solving: Strategic thinking and analytical skills to resolve complex project challengesNegotiation: Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and conflict resolutionAttention to Detail: Meticulous approach to project documentation and quality controlPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in related fieldExperience with international projects or multi-site rolloutsKnowledge of construction contracts and procurement processesFamiliarity with local approval processesWorking ConditionsMay require travel to various project locationsOccasionally required to work outside normal business hours to accommodate project schedulesJLL is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.Location: On-site –Mumbai, MHScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
