Role Overview:

As the Delivery Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of Data Science, Analytics and IT projects, ensuring that they meet client requirements, timelines, and quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead project execution, client interactions, and ensure continuous improvement in delivery processes. You will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with clients and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring successful and timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor project managers and teams, providing guidance and support in project execution and delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, utilizing industry best practices and methodologies.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and client expectations and address any challenges or roadblocks that arise during project execution.
  • Regularly monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Foster a strong team environment and build relationships across various internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Around 6-8 years of experience in project deliveries within the Data Science, Analytics and IT sector.
  • Strong experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from planning to execution and delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and effectively communicate project updates.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to navigate and solve complex project challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with risk management, quality assurance, and resource planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Should have worked hands on in Python, Data Science, Analytics and software development.
