Job Title: Accounts & Finance Manager

Location: Chembur, Mumbai

Department: Finance & Accounting

Reporting to: Management

Salary: ₹75,000 – ₹80,000 per month

1. Role Objective

The Accounts & Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's administrative, financial, and risk management operations. The role includes developing financial and operational strategies, implementing performance metrics, and monitoring control systems to safeguard company assets while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

2. Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Compliance

Supervise accounting transactions across all group businesses.

Manage budgeting, cost control, and supplier payments.

Prepare and file statutory returns (GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, TDS, TCS, PT, Income Tax, Advance Tax).

Ensure timely tax audit reports and compliance with company law.

Finalize books of accounts and prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and fund flow statements.

Financial Operations

Oversee MIS systems and reporting for accounting functions.

Verify vendor bills, TDS application, and maintain import/export purchase files.

Conduct monthly stock audits, quarterly financial reports, and yearly investment valuations.

Manage payroll, leave encashments, and government incentive monitoring.

Support sales tax and forex-related documentation.

Banking & Finance

Monitor daily banking transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers.

Coordinate with banks for loans, credit limits, packing credit, and LCs.

Prepare CMA data, bank proposals, and ensure proper credit management.

Manage investments in shares, mutual funds, and real estate transactions.

Audit & Risk Management

Handle internal, statutory, tax, stock, and bank audits.

Prepare necessary reports, documentation, and working papers.

Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements.

Agreements & Licensing

Maintain records of all property, supplier, and third-party agreements.

Manage import/export licensing processes and compliance.

Team Management & Reporting

Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team to achieve targets.

Train and develop team members on processes, documentation, and reporting.

Provide accurate and timely management reports for decision-making.

ERP & Systems

Manage finance/accounting software and ERP systems.

Ensure timely data maintenance, device backup, and troubleshooting.

Critical Activities & Frequency

Salary, advances, vendor payments – Monthly/As per cycle.

GST, TDS, PT, ESIC payments – Monthly.

Advance Tax – Quarterly.

P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow – Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly.

Stock and asset verification – Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly.

MIS Reports – As required.

License renewals, property tax, and compliance filings – As per schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Accounts & Finance, with team handling exposure.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and banking operations.

Hands-on experience in ERP/financial software and advanced MS Excel.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
