JOB DESCRIPTION

• Should be able to Design Plumbing (Water supply, Drainage) & Firefighting systems.
• Experience in Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution systems, and purified water systems.
• Designs selects, schedules, sizes, and specifies basic Plumbing system components to include plumbing fixtures, drains, and equipment
• Conversant in Drainage System & Plumbing System as per UPC, IPC Standards Calculation of water demand. (cold/grey/potable)
• Highly Skilled with AutoCAD
• Experience in Pump head calculations.
• Knowledge of BIM standards maintained in creating PH models
• Technical Evaluation of the PH equipment with vendors.
• Preparation of Single line PH design drawings.
• Preparation of technical data sheets.
• Calculate the Tank sizing, Pipe sizes in the Plumbing & Fire fighting.

• Designing and drafting Plumbing systems which comprise of

• Cold and hot domestic water supply systems.

• Individual or central water heating system (Electric, Solar).
• Wastewater, soil water, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Domestic water tanks and domestic pump stations.
• Treated and soft cold-water systems.
• Mechanical equipment rooms.

• Selection of pumps.

• Designing and Drafting of Fire Protection Systems Which Comprises of

• Automatic fire water sprinkler systems.

• Type of Hazards
• Fire water pipe sizzing
• Pre-action system, Deluge system.
• Automatic clean agent (FM-200) extinguishing systems, NOVEC system.
• Expansion foam systems.

• Fire water tanks and fire pump stations.

• Complete Plumbing design and calculation. Able to calculate loads, Pipe sizes, and capacities of plumbing systems required.

• Knowledge of systems applicable to the discipline. Able to plan and draw basic layouts of engineering systems using Revit and Cad.
• Familiar with all applicable codes (NFPA, UAE, IPC, UPC, SBC)
• Plumbing design of building services like Drainage, Water Supply, and Rain Water
• Calculation of head and flow for cold/hot water for high/low rise buildings. Pipe sizing is based on cold & hot water.
• Equipment selections like the sump pump, booster pump, filter, transfer pump, electric water heater, oil interceptor, grease interceptor, neutralization tank, etc.
• Knowledge of AEC disciplines, MEP, architectural and structural standards
• A strong knowledge of International BIM LOD standards,
• Should have the ability to work independently within a project team.
• Collaborate with other designers, engineers, architects, and clients
• Should have the ability to understand the information received from various formats
• Should be interested and able to work in an international environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned and appropriately for the designated grade level.
• Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks will be advantageous and highly preferred.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of project workload and rebalances work as needed
• Oversees the process of project drawing creating through all phases, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and submittals, from beginning to end and as needed per project
• Proactively identifies and communicated areas of deficiency/gaps along with proposed solutions on projects to support timely completion of work
• Reviews project files for compliance with standards
• Reviewing Skills: Drawing Plans, Elevations, Section views and illustrating various dimensioning as BOD, BOP, and Co-ordination with other services, Preparing Notes & Legends & Standard

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Good Communication
• B.E.
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant project work experience
• Intermediate level experience working with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit
• Strong understanding of the VDC/CAD/BIM industry, concepts, practices, and procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience within building services environment
