About the Role

We are looking for a
Senior Design Engineer (Plumbing)
with solid experience in designing and managing plumbing systems for large-scale projects such as hotels, hospitals, office buildings, IT fit-outs, apartments, and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and hands-on design experience across all stages of project execution.

Educational Qualification

  • B.E. Mechanical / B.E. Civil
  • Diploma in Mechanical / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in plumbing design for
    buildings and infrastructure projects
    .
  • Proven experience in
    water supply, distribution, drainage, and plumbing systems
    .

Technical & Software Knowledge

  • Mandatory:
    AutoCAD, MS Office
  • Added Advantage:
    Revit MEP
  • Sound knowledge of
    NBC, SP 35, and UPC guidelines

Functional Skills

Design Skills:

  • Requirement collection, preparation of load estimates, design basis reports, space planning
  • Design of plumbing systems – sanitary fixtures, water supply, drainage, rainwater/stormwater management, RO plant, pumps, solar/heat pump systems
  • Sizing and design of
    WTP/STP
    systems

Drawing Skills:

  • Preparation of 2D water supply & drainage drawings, schematic/single-line diagrams, detailed sections/elevations, UG sump/OHT drawings with flange details

Documentation:

  • Preparation of
    BOQs, material take-off sheets, technical specs, and cost estimates

Project Execution:

  • Coordination with site teams for RFIs, quality reports, approvals, and monitoring progress
  • Responsible from
    design stage to execution and completion

Other Requirements

  • Proven track record of
    leadership and team collaboration
  • Strong
    problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to project and client requirements
  • Willingness to
    travel
    to client offices and project sites
