responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases/scripts
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA leads to understand requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing across web and mobile platforms.
  • Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, GitHub Issues, ClickUp, or equivalent).
  • Work closely with developers to test APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Create, manage, and enhance test data and sandbox environments.
  • Assist in building and maintaining automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, or similar).
    Ensure high-quality releases by providing comprehensive QA reports.

Required Skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts (test case design, functional testing, regression, smoke, and UAT).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, Appium) and scripting in Java or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
