Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Automation Tester located in Mumbai/ Pune/ Chennai.The Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and documenting system defects, collaborating with developers and QA teams to ensure software quality, analyzing test results, and continuously optimizing test scripts. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring high performance in software products.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in automation testing, including writing and running test scripts.
  • Strong skills in tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar for scripting.
  • Knowledge of software testing life cycle, test methodologies, and QA processes.
  • Good understanding of API testing and performance testing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in testing educational content or solutions is advantageous.
