IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Finance – Accounts Receivables function as Specialist.

Your Focus:
As a Specialist based in IFF Hyderabad, you play a key role in working closely with Cash apps team. You will be responsible for downloading of Bank Statements from Bank Website and reconciling whether all the feeds have been received to SAP or not.

The role reports to Operations Leader.

How will you contribute:

  • Downloading of Bank Statements from Bank Website (as when and required).
  • Reconciling whether all the feeds have been received to SAP or not.
  • Daily Cash Application as per the remittances received.
  • Working on research and on account items.
  • Maintaining and clearing the Suspense account.
  • Updating comments for open items in Blackline (related to customer accounts).
  • Small balance write offs.
  • Processing refund requests for Double/Over/Incorrect payments from customers.
  • Flexible with work content and timings.
  • Periodic updates of SOP.
  • Working closely with AP/GL and Onshore Team to resolve the customer queries.
  • Understanding of upstream and downstream processes and impact.
  • Knowledge on month end activities and to be proactive in highlighting any issues.
  • Mentoring team members and resolving their queries.
  • Co-ordinating with upstream and downstream processes in case of any issues.
  • Meet Daily productivity and quality.
  • Adhere to compliance and controls.
  • Initiates process improvement ideas.

What will you need t be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or accounting professional equivalent with minimum 3+ years working experience in Cash Application.
  • Working experience in SAP is a must.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and email programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
  • Knowledge on Banking and Treasury activities.
  • Flexible with work content and timings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Meticulous, high reliable and motivated team play with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and willing to engage colleagues to resolves issues.
  • Must have the ability to work independently to resolve complex process/system issues in a team environment multitask and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to network with Centers and colleagues in other countries and regions
