Customer Onboarding Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Onboarding Project Manager to lead end-to-end implementation projects for our SaaS-based Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The ideal candidate will be a certified Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile methodologies, technical knowledge of databases and APIs, and a proven track record of managing implementation teams and customer-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple, concurrent customer onboarding and implementation projects for our ATS platform.
  • Define, plan, and execute end-to-end project delivery using Agile project management frameworks.
  • Utilize JIRA to manage project backlogs, sprints, and reporting for all onboarding projects.
  • Manage a team of 34 implementation consultants, ensuring delivery excellence, quality assurance, and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Gather customer requirements, translate them into implementation plans, and align with system configurations.
  • Leverage knowledge of SQL and MongoDB to validate data migrations, troubleshoot issues, and support system integrations.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures to integrate with third-party HR tech and recruitment tools.
  • Use Visual Studio Code for hands-on analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting during integration and data validation phases.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and budgets while ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth adoption.
  • Conduct retrospective reviews and continuously improve project delivery processes.
  • Provide domain expertise on recruitment workflows to maximize customer adoption and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with hands-on experience in applying Agile methodologies.
  • 5–7 years of experience in project management, preferably in SaaS implementations.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA, SQL, MongoDB, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio Code for technical troubleshooting and validation.
