About the Role

Execiva is hiring a Data Analytics Intern to join our in-house Data & Technology team in Mumbai. This is a paid, on-site internship offering real-world experience in data analytics, automation, and modern analytics tools. You'll work directly with senior professionals to collect, analyze, and automate data workflows that drive real business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Web Scraping

  • Use Python libraries (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy) to extract structured and unstructured data.
  • Maintain clean and automated scraping pipelines.

Data Analysis & Visualization

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI.
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling for analytics projects.

Cloud & Data Infrastructure

  • Work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and pipeline management.
  • Learn how data solutions are deployed and managed in cloud environments.

API Integration

  • Connect and integrate multiple data sources via APIs.
  • Write and document simple REST API calls used in analytics workflows.

Automation & AI Applications

  • Explore the use of machine-learning models for trend prediction and data enrichment.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to automation and AI-powered tools used by Execiva's data team to streamline analytics workflows.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven initiatives.
  • Present insights and suggest process improvements backed by data.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib).
  • Familiarity with web scraping and API handling.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Interest in AI concepts and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data-warehousing concepts.
  • Exposure to AI model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face).
  • Experience with ETL tools or data pipelines.
