Role Purpose

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all client projects and internal initiatives within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role involves end-to-end project governance, resource planning, customer engagement, and cross-team coordination. The Delivery Manager will work closely with practice heads, sales, finance, HR, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance

  1. Ensure the delivery of projects and operations within the budgets assigned by practice heads for each business unit.

  2. Oversee project execution, track milestones, ensure quality delivery, and escalate issues/risks proactively.

  3. Conduct cadence calls with customers (weekly/bi-weekly as per governance model) to review project progress, risks, and dependencies.

  4. Participate in requirement gathering workshops, configurations, training, UAT, and go-live phases alongside the project team.

  5. Oversee support projects, ensuring SLA compliance and handling escalations effectively.

Resource & Team Management

  1. Work with practice heads and HR team on resource requirement identification based on forecasted projects, supporting hiring and onboarding processes.

  2. Review timesheets weekly to monitor utilization, identify red flags, and provide feedback to ensure optimal resource allocation.

  3. Review and consolidate support project timesheets for submission to customers and secure acceptance.

  4. Provide coaching, guidance, and direction to project managers and consultants where required.

Financial & Contractual Oversight

  1. Collaborate with the finance team on project contracts, financial milestones, and billing cycles.

  2. Communicate milestone achievements to finance for invoicing and track project profitability.

  3. Support practice heads in budget reviews, proposal validations, and financial planning for projects.

Sales & Presales Collaboration

  1. Work closely with the sales and operations teams to support discovery calls, proposal reviews, RFP responses, and client presentations.

  2. Provide delivery insights during presales to ensure feasible project scope and timelines.

Reporting & Communication

  1. Submit periodic project progress reports to practice heads, COO, and CEO highlighting key achievements, risks, and upcoming milestones.

  2. Maintain accurate project records in internal project management systems (Planner, CRM, etc.).

  3. Drive adoption of project management best practices and ensure consistent usage of internal tools across teams.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Manage and monitor internal IT projects for smooth business operations.

  2. Ensure compliance with company standards, quality practices, and governance frameworks.

  3. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer workshops, project governance, or escalations as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 7–10 years of project/delivery management experience in ERP/CRM projects (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, BC, CE highly desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools (MS Planner, MS Project, Jira, or similar) and CRM systems.
  • Hands-on ability to coordinate across multiple projects, teams, and geographies.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness to manage budgets, profitability, and contract terms.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalations diplomatically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP / Agile certification.
  • Experience in managing multi-country ERP/CRM projects.
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
