Auto Body Shop Manager - Bhosari ( Pune )

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee our body shop operations. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in body shop management in the automobile industry. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, managing a team of technicians, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Skills.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in body shop management in the automobile industry
  • Strong knowledge of body shop processes, including repairs.
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of technicians
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines
  • Good understanding of budgeting and financial management

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the body shop, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets
  • Supervise and train body shop technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure high quality of repair work and adherence to industry standards and guidelines
  • Monitor and control inventory of body shop supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency
  • Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Implement and enforce safety standards and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, recommending improvements to enhance the body shop's performance
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and financial targets of the body shop
  • Prepare reports and present performance metrics to management
