Role Overview :

The Demand Manager at BatterySmart will be responsible for forecasting demand, analyzing market trends, and ensuring optimal battery availability to meet customer needs. This role requires close

coordination with supply chain, sales, and operations teams to maintain efficiency and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and experience in demand planning and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting & Planning:

  • Develop and implement demand forecasting models using historical data and market insights.
  • Monitor demand patterns and adjust forecasts to improve accuracy.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with business goals.
  • Identify inefficiencies in demand planning and propose process
  • improvements.

Market & Data Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to anticipate demand shifts.
  • Utilize data analytics toolsto generate actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Present reports and recommendations to senior management on demand trends and supply chain strategies.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for demand forecasting and planning.
  • Set team goals, track performance, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Communicate demand plans and insights effectively across internal teams including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Ensure alignment across functions to meet customer demand and service levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Any Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
