Role & responsibilities

The Design Engineer will be instrumental in creating innovative AGV and AMR solutions. This role involves the full spectrum of product development from concept to production, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • o Design and develop new AGV and AMR models, focusing on both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • o Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
  • o Build and test prototypes to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
  • o Collaborate with the testing team to conduct simulations and real-world testing scenarios.
  • o Integrate various components and systems including sensors, control units, and power systems into the overall design.
  • o Ensure seamless operation of hardware and software systems within the robots.
  • o Analyze and optimize existing products for performance improvements, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
  • o Implement design changes based on feedback from product and field service team.
  • o Prepare detailed documentation for designs, including technical specifications, BOMs, and user manuals.
  • o Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • o Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product development and R&D Engineers. o Participate in design reviews and provide input on project planning and timelines.
  • o Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, automation, and related technologies.
  • o Contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing our product portfolio.
  • o Identify opportunities for improving design processes and methodologies.
  • o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.
