Responsibilities
  • Lead geological assessments to identify potential Metal mining sites and evaluate their feasibility.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on geological findings to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mining plans in line with business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee exploration and drilling activities to support Copper and Strategic & Precious Metals mining operations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of geological data and create comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in the field of geology and mining.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental guidelines in all geological and mining activities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior geologists and mining staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and vision for the metal business segment.
Qualifications

Technology and IT Enablement- Proficiency in MS Office, Geologists related tools

Job Criteria

  • Over 10 years of experience in the metal and Mining industry.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful geological assessments and project management.
  • Proven experience in driving growth and development within the metal and mining sector.
