Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Warehouse / Stores Senior Team Member is responsible for executing and managing daily warehouse operations within assigned material categories. This role ensures accurate inventory control, effective material receipt, storage, and distribution, and the timely liquidation or disposal of non-moving inventory. This role also supports compliance with established guidelines, risk management, and contributes to continuous improvement in warehouse practices.
ResponsibilitiesConstruction Warehouse & Stores Senior Team Member-PETCHEM
Inventory Planning and Control:
Ensure adherence to SOPs and guidelines by assisting in the design and implementation of standard systems/templates/processes for store management, inventory control, and scrap management.
Ensure inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies between electronic records and the physical state of the inventory for the assigned store category.
Optimize inventory management by evaluating the shelf life of the inventory and assisting in its classification based on criticality and ageing (e.g., SMI/NMI/Normal Spares).
Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring the availability of MRP materials/products and managing inventory at the warehouse/stores.
Material Receipt and Storage Management:
Ensure accurate and efficient handling of materials by managing the receipts of inbound material and maintaining precise documentation for materials procured and delivered to the warehouse/stores.
Support timely distribution by actively tracking inventory deployment, delivering or releasing inventory items to targeted end users.
Guarantee the quality and timeliness of material deliveries by overseeing the stacking, storage, and preservation of inbound deliveries.
Facilitate accurate inventory updates by executing the process for material issue to the user and ensuring timely updates in the inventory system post-issue.
Ensure proper record-keeping by maintaining accurate records in SAP, including documents and other details of material issues and procurement.
Ensure the operational readiness of the store by overseeing the maintenance of store-related plants and tools.
Inventory Utilization and Disposal:
Maximize financial recovery by assisting in the identification and liquidation of non-moving inventory (NMI).
Ensure proper disposal by executing asset liquidation and scrapping as directed by the Head of Stores, based on DoA guidelines.
Risk and Compliance Management:
Contribute to effective risk management by assisting in identifying and prioritizing risks related to stores, inventory control, liquidation, and disposal, and by updating the category risk register.
Team Management:
Lead and manage the warehouse/stores team member, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the performance of team members and third-party vendors, driving accountability and ensuring effective resource management.

QualificationsCertification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Science/ Commerce/ Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/ related field.
Certification or diploma in inventory/materials management is desirable.
Work Experience (Range of years):
10+ years of relevant work experience in managing stores, inventory management, and scrap management, including experience in handling project/O&M stores.
Familiarity with inventory classification & control methods, the 5S process, and SAP Material Management Module/SD module for waste and scrap management.
