About The Role
The 3PL division of Express Global Logistics is looking to hire a warehouse manager to manage end-to-end operations of a warehouse that primarily store haz / non-haz chemicals. The warehouse manager will be responsible for setting up the operations, delivering against customer SLAs, managing manpower, vendor management, safety and compliance. The warehouse manager must have some experience dealing with chemicals particularly understanding chemical compatibility.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end operations in warehouse
  • Manage smooth unloading of material, put away, GRN creation and logging in the system
  • Ensuring material unloaded is in good condition
  • Storing the chemical cargo based on chemical compatibility
  • Managing manpower and MHEs to ensure resources are utilized efficiently
  • Ensuring stocks are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Creating and implementing SOPs for all activities within the warehouse
  • Share regular MIS reports with the customer
  • Manage timely dispatch of material through efficient loading onto the vehicle
  • Coordinate with customs officials to manage bonding and ex-bonding of goods

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate/Post Graduate preferably in the field of Management studies
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in the Warehouse Management, Logistics or 3PL
  • Competencies: Chemical handling experience is required, strong knowledge on managing warehouse operations, good communication skills
  • Advanced skills: Knowledge of MS Office and WMS
  • Someone with their own car is preferred
