Job Title: Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to grow our freight forwarding business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and developing strategic relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and increase customer satisfaction.
Team Management: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, pursue leads, and negotiate contracts to drive revenue growth.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain sales collateral, including pitches, proposals, and presentations.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record of success.
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to analyze market trends and sales data.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and transportation regulations.
Nice to Have:
Good Relationships with Airlines and Shipping companies
Proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to international trade.
What We Offer:
Salary : Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum (CTC) + Incentives (10% on and above of Gross Profit of Rs. 5,50,000/- per quarter)
Sales Target : Minimum Gross Profit Rs. 5,50,000/- per quarter
