Location: 210, Huda Complex, Market, beside OZEM HARDWARE STORE, Prem Nagar, Sector 11, Gurugram, Haryana 122001
Role Summary:
The Retail Sales Executive plays a key role in delivering a premium shopping experience in an ethnic and bridal wear boutique. This role involves personalized customer service, styling guidance, product expertise, and sales execution to cater to customers shopping for festive, bridal, and special occasion wear. A deep understanding of traditional craftsmanship, bridal trends, and customer emotions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Experience & Sales
- Greet and assist walk-in customers with a personalized and welcoming approach.
- Understand client requirements—especially for bridal trousseau, wedding functions, or festive occasions—and suggest appropriate styles and ensembles.
- Drive sales by providing styling advice and in-depth product information (e.g., price, fit, customization).
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with bridal clients through follow-ups, fittings, and styling support.
2. Bridal Consultation
- Offer one-on-one bridal consultations, including outfit selection and suggest right attire according to body type and skin tone.
- Coordinate with designers or tailors (if applicable) for custom orders, alterations, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure a seamless experience from trial to final delivery for bridal clients.
3. Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about ethnic and bridal wear collections, seasonal trends, embroidery styles (zardozi, gota patti, chikankari, etc.), and fabrics.
- Advise clients on outfit care, fittings, and traditional styling options based on cultural preferences.
4. Visual Merchandising & Store Maintenance
- Maintain appealing visual displays, especially for bridal sections and seasonal collections.
- Ensure trial rooms, bridal lounges, and showroom spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.
5. Inventory & Order Handling
- Assist in stock replenishment and monitor fast-moving styles, especially in bridal and festive categories.
- Manage and track customer orders, special requests, and delivery timelines.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and alterations in accordance with store policy.
6. Operations & Team Collaboration
- Process billing and payments accurately through POS systems.
- Work closely with in-store stylists, designers, and the customer service team.
- Participate in training sessions, store meetings, and seasonal launch events.
- Required Skills & Qualities:1–3 years of retail experience, preferably in ethnic wear, bridal, or premium fashion retail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional intelligence, especially for bridal clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong sense of style, color, and occasion-based dressing.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage customer expectations.
- Basic computer skills for POS and inventory systems.
