
Front Office Receptionist

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist IVF patients, visitors, and guests at the front desk.
- Register new patients by accurately collecting personal, medical, and insurance information, then updating records in the HIS.
- Manage phone calls, answer patient queries, direct calls to appropriate staff, and handle appointment scheduling for consultations, procedures, and lab work.
- Provide information about IVF processes, financial aspects, and guide patients through the necessary forms.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and ethical standards, especially related to sensitive reproductive health information.
- Process patient payments, handle cash and digital transactions, issue receipts, and reconcile cash at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to promote a positive patient experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a receptionist, cashier, or front office executive in a healthcare or IVF setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS) for patient registration, billing, and record management.
- Proficiency in cash handling and preparing daily cash reports.
- Basic computer skills and competence with relevant software (MS Office, medical databases).
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage high-volume patient flow and varied administrative duties.
Additional Duties
- Coordinate with departments (medical, laboratory, pharmacy) to ensure timely patient care and smooth workflow.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies for front office needs.
- Support billing, insurance verification, and any reporting or audit activities as required.
