Role Overview:

We are seeking a Site Engineer to manage day-to-day operations at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring quality control, monitoring progress, and coordinating with the project and design teams. The role demands strong technical understanding, on-site decision-making skills, and the ability to handle contractors, vendors, and workforce efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Execution & Supervision

  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
  • Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site labour to ensure work quality and timely completion.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Verify levels, layouts, and alignments as per approved plans.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers for design clarifications and technical issues.

Quality Control & Materials Management

  • Inspect all construction and finishing works for quality and compliance.
  • Check incoming materials for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
  • Maintain material inventory, issue logs, and consumption reports.
  • Ensure that only approved materials and methods are used at site.

Planning & Coordination

  • Support project planning by preparing daily and weekly progress reports.
  • Assist in work scheduling and resource allocation for smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
  • Communicate regularly with project management regarding delays, issues, or deviations.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily site diary, attendance, material receipts, and usage records.
  • Prepare site progress reports and share regular updates with the Project Manager.
  • Keep records of inspection checklists, test reports, and site correspondence.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers adhere to site safety rules.
  • Monitor and report potential hazards or violations.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and statutory regulations.

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

  • Conduct measurement checks for billing and quantity verification.
  • Coordinate site handovers and final finishing inspections.
  • Support project close-out documentation and snag list clearance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of site experience in real estate, commercial, or residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural, and finishing activities.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic level), and site documentation tools.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling on-site challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
