Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Civil Engineer to lead, supervise, and manage construction activities for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, vendor management, and ensuring the timely delivery of residential and commercial developments. This role demands strong technical knowledge, site management skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Prepare and review construction plans, structural drawings, and specifications.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Oversee execution of civil works including excavation, RCC, masonry, finishing, utilities, and external development.

2. Site Supervision & Team Leadership

  • Lead site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure proper workflow.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Ensure safety protocols and compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

  • Establish and implement quality control procedures across all phases of construction.
  • Inspect and approve reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, finishing works, and material tests.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure materials and workmanship meet approved standards.

4. Technical & Documentation Management

  • Prepare technical reports, daily/weekly progress reports, measurement sheets, and project documentation.
  • Review and approve quantity take-offs and estimations.
  • Provide technical inputs for project budgeting and design modifications.

5. Vendor, Contractor & Client Coordination

  • Manage and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients for design clarifications and project reviews.
  • Support procurement teams with material specifications and vendor selection.

6. Cost & Resource Management

  • Monitor project costs, ensure budget adherence, and prevent wastage.
  • Plan resource allocation including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Implement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce project delays.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 8–10+ years of experience in real estate, infrastructure, or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Strong technical expertise in RCC, structural work, finishing, and site execution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites.
