Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer
with
6 months to 1 year of experience
in software testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our
Odoo-based solutions
by identifying bugs, validating features, and ensuring smooth end-user experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand Odoo workflows, custom modules, and business processes.
  • Design and execute
    test cases
    based on functional requirements.
  • Perform
    manual testing
    of Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, etc.).
  • Perform
    API testing
    for Odoo REST/JSON-RPC endpoints.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like
    JIRA, Trello
    , or
    Odoo Studio
    .
  • Conduct
    regression, integration, and smoke testing
    to ensure product stability.
  • Assist in preparing QA reports and documentation for releases.
  • Work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues quickly.
  • Contribute ideas to improve product quality, test processes, and automation frameworks (if any).

Must-Have Skills:

  • 0.5 to 1 year of experience in software testing (manual).
  • Good understanding of
    SDLC/STLC
    and
    Bug Life Cycle
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    ERP systems
    or exposure to
    Odoo
    is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like
    Postman
    ,
    JIRA
    , or
    TestLink
    .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to
    Odoo ERP
    or any open-source ERP platform.
  • Basic knowledge of
    Python
    ,
    SQL
    , or scripting languages.
  • Understanding of
    automated testing
    tools like Selenium or PyTest.
  • Experience with Linux environments.
