Dear Candidate,

We have an urgent opportunity for Head - Quality.

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company-wide quality management system (QMS) for solar projects.
  • Establish quality KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
  • Define project-specific QA/QC plans, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and SOPs in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
  • Oversee quality inspections at all stages: pre-dispatch, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Ensure that material inspections, welding quality, foundation construction, module mounting, cabling, and electrical terminations meet quality standards.
  • Audit and approve vendors for modules, structures, inverters, cables, etc.
  • Ensure material quality through factory acceptance tests (FATs), third-party inspections, and proper documentation.
  • Handle NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Build and manage a team of QA/QC engineers at project sites and HO.
  • Conduct regular training programs for site engineers, contractors, and workers on quality practices and safety standards.
  • Promote awareness of quality requirements among stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation including inspection records, calibration certificates, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is aligned with client, regulatory, and certification requirements.
  • Act as the key quality interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and certification bodies.
  • Support during internal and external audits and project reviews.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in the solar EPC industry (ground-mounted solar preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, civil & electrical works, and international quality standards.
  • Experience in handling multi-site projects and large-scale solar parks.
