Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Multi-Commodity Trader to manage and execute trades across various commodity markets such as rice, maize, millets, soybean, cotton, seeds, pulses commodities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global market dynamics, risk management, and trading strategies. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with logistics, risk, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and compliance.

Role & responsibilities

  • Execute trades across multiple commodity markets (e.g., rice, maize, millets, soybean, cotton, seeds, pulses) in line with company strategy and risk appetite.
  • Monitor global market developments, economic trends, and geopolitical risks to identify trading opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Structure physical and/or financial commodity transactions including forward contracts, swaps, and options.
  • Perform fundamental and technical analysis to support trading decisions.
  • Optimize the companys trading portfolio to maximize profits and hedge exposure.
  • Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure proper deal execution and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and timely trade records and reports in internal systems.
  • Assist in developing and refining trading models, tools, and analytics.
