Location: Bangalore

About the Team

At Navi, the UPI team is responsible for driving the success of our UPI platform, owning the P&L and working in close partnership with Product, Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, Tech and other support functions. The team focuses on expanding the customer base, boosting revenue and optimising costs through continuous improvement.

About the Role

We're looking to strengthen UPI transaction operations with a dedicated team member focused on reliability and issue resolution. You will work closely with NPCI, banks and vendors to manage transaction issues, streamline processes, and improve user experience. This is a high-ownership role with a direct impact on customer trust.

What We Expect From You

Ownership & Process Management

  • Build strong working relationships with NPCI, banks and vendors
  • Define SOP and own resolution of all transaction issues including terminal status discrepancies, fund flow gaps and reconciliation delays.
  • Drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes to minimize customer impact.

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Monitor UPI transaction funnel metrics, especially for pending transactions.
  • Maintain dashboards and alerts to flag issues early in transaction flows.
  • Follow up on reconciliation discrepancies and delayed status updates with banks and vendors.
  • Track bank-wise success rates and identify areas for improvement.

  • Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
