Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Tester with hands-on experience in validating Salesforce applications and integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce functional testing, automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, or Provar), and API testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, triggers, and reports.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for Salesforce applications (preferably using Robot Framework, Selenium, or Provar).
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
  • Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Support UAT and ensure end-to-end test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce Testing (manual and automation).
  • Good understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and deployment process.
  • Experience in testing Salesforce Lightning components, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Flows.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (SOAP / REST).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automation execution.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
  • Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Certification (Admin, Platform App Builder, or QA-related).
  • Exposure to test automation tools specific to Salesforce (Provar, Copado, AutoRABIT).
  • Experience in Salesforce Testing with Python / Robot Framework.
  • Working knowledge of Test Management tools (QTest, Zephyr, TestRail).
