Position Summary:This position is assigned to an account or a group of accounts and is responsible for the daily support, leadership of the account needs and the interaction between Sales and the internal Watlow teams.

The development of quote proposals, offering of technical advice, evaluating account profitability and overall health, proactive communication and management of all manners of commercial and technical issues, and advocating for the account within the business are routine for these assigned accounts. This position shall be based out of Delhi and allowed to WFH.It's reporting to General Manager- Sales.

Individual Contributor. Initiate & establish contact with customers and offer our solutions at early stage. Proactive customer visits for Revamps.

Develop new customers. Functional Contribution (Contribution Matrix):Uses judgment to organize my own work and knowing when to refer issues to others. Leverages knowledge of business and tools and recommends/ implements solutions within designated area of responsibility.

Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in product and applications. Uses resources to learn the business. Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes.

Understands how actions impact expenses. Transfers knowledge from one situation to the next situation. Demonstrates approachability and openness.

Establishes credibility. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal listening and communication capabilities. Conforms to behaviors consistent with organizational culture.

Uses the Watlow Business System (WBS) to achieve results. Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix):Services:Takes proactive role in providing the daily support and management of the account needs and ensures the account requirements are addressed within the business. Understands selected build plans to best provide forecasting data for incoming sales during sales operating financial planning (SOFP) processes.

Maintains and grows selected accounts, manage commercial topics including terms, pricing guidelines, and stocking agreements. Leads team in Strategic Account Planning (SAP) activity. Participates in periodic customer business reviews.

Monitors, evaluates, and responds to customer complaints, application problems, returns and technical support. Reviews customer specs for compliance, accuracy, feasibility and provide quotations per customer request. Provides customer scorecard management and reporting to the organization.

Determines, Manages, translates and communicates customer special requirements. Executes strategy with stakeholders to maximize customer growth and profitability for assigned customers.Recommends additional products and services that benefit the account profitability and successPlanning:Supports strategic business units plan linkage to assigned accounts. Strategic Account Plan participation.

Business Partner:Collaborates with Sales, Business Segment and/or Business Unit leaders and Product Managers to manage customer engagement for assigned customers. Center of Expertise (COE). Intermediate negotiation skills.

Forecasting and market cycle awareness. Industry applications and processes. Project Management.

Strategic Account Plans – Plan of Care and Plan of Growth. Quote generation and pricing execution. Customer research and profiling.

CRM and ERP.Watlow Business Systems (i.e. Segmentation and chip color). In-depth account knowledge (i.e. infrastructure, etc.)Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:Bachelor's degree or two-year degree and related experience, or equivalent experience (5-8 years). Minimum experience shall be 5 years and maximum 10 years in hard core sales willing to travel 75% to 80% of time and spend face time with customer.
