Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Procurement Specialist based in Bengaluru. The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure optimal terms and conditions. The role involves preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and maintaining relationships with vendors. The specialist will also utilize strong analytical skills to evaluate purchasing decisions and optimize procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders and executing procurement processes efficiently
  • Experience in Supplier Evaluation and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Strong skills in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess procurement decisions and cost management
  • Expertise in Procurement operations and ensuring compliance with organizational policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with procurement software or systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CPSM or CIPS preferred
