Store Director – Premium Gourmet Retail | Mumbai

About the Role:

We're looking for a Store Director who combines operational excellence with a passion for food and storytelling. You'll lead our premium gourmet retail store — driving sales, elevating the guest experience, and building a strong, motivated team.

This is not just another retail job — it's about creating a destination for food lovers and shaping an inspiring customer journey every day.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Excellence

Own and deliver store revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction KPIs.

Lead digital operations including website, WhatsApp orders, and memberships.

Analyse P&L, stock turns, and wastage; take corrective action to maximize profitability.

Maintain optimal stock levels and efficient stock-to-cash cycles.

Customer Experience & Brand Storytelling

Build deep product knowledge and bring stories of our makers to life for customers.

Create immersive tasting, trial, and display experiences.

Drive in-store events, collaborations, and masterclasses to grow footfall.

Foster long-term customer relationships with a personalized service approach.

Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and mentor a passionate in-store team.

Drive productivity, minimize attrition, and chart growth paths for high-potential talent.

Instill a strong customer-first culture through training and example.

Compliance & Partnerships

Coordinate with property management and regulatory bodies for smooth operations.

Ensure hygiene, safety, and legal compliance standards are consistently met.


What You'll Bring

Experience: 6–8 years in F&B or luxury retail operations.

Preferably from a 5-star hotel, fine dining setup, or large format premium food store sq. ft.)

Proven P&L ownership and operational leadership experience.

Education: Degree in Hospitality Management or Retail Operations preferred.

Skills:

Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset

Excellent interpersonal and team management skills

Detail-oriented and process-driven

Tech-savvy with an understanding of digital commerce
