Experience in L2 & L3 Protocols testing

 Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.

 Ability to understand end to end regression testing work flow

at technology area and platform/product level

 Having experience and capability in solving complex issues in

testing.

 High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for

failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely.

 Test automation frameworks, tools and scripting languages is

a must and preferably in Python, Robot framework.

 Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems.

 Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new

feature testing/new assignments faster.

 Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 Responsibilities include, test planning, test script execution,

defect analysis & tracking, and script fixing and test reports.

 Good exposure in following technologies:

Routing & switching architectures.

L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q

in Q

L3: OSPF, BGP, ISIS

QOS

Firewalls & Policer

ECMP & load balancing.

 Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Complete assigned work in time to the satisfaction of the project manager.

2 Work across different teams to solve problems

3 Be able to perform design and Manual testing with minimum guidance

4 Experience working on the Layer 2 and Layer 3 Technologies.

5 Good understanding of Python, Robotic Frame work..
