Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on
    Routing, Switching, and Fortigate SD-WAN
    .
  • Configure and monitor
    core controllers and network policies
    to ensure smooth network operations.
  • Perform
    L3-level troubleshooting
    for escalated incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Implement and optimize network performance, redundancy, and security.
  • Collaborate with OEM vendors and internal IT teams for upgrades and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and update documentation, network topology diagrams, and configuration details.
  • Ensure compliance with HPCL's IT and security standards.
  • Participate in network improvement projects and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of
    Routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
    and
    Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking, etc.)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Fortigate SD-WAN configuration and policy management
    .
  • Expertise in
    core controller configuration and policy-based networking
    .
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network environments.
  • Strong understanding of
    network security principles
    and
    firewall policies
    .
  • Ability to work effectively in a
    high-availability enterprise setup
    .

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • Certification:
    CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
    – mandatory.
  • Experience:
    8–12 years in enterprise-level network management and operations.
