Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Manager Import & Export to oversee and manage all international logistics, shipping, and documentation functions for Parveen Industries Pvt. Ltd. The role requires expertise in handling global supply chain activities, import/export compliance, and end-to-end documentation in a manufacturing industry environment.

Key Responsibilities

Import & Export Operations

  • Manage all import and export activities including freight forwarding, customs clearance, shipping, and warehousing.
  • Ensure timely execution of import/export shipments in line with project deadlines.
  • Liaise with CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, transporters, and port authorities.
  • Handle duty drawback, EPCG, and other DGFT-related benefits.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and review shipping and export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, FTA-related documents, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations (Customs, GST, DGFT, RBI guidelines, FEMA, EXIM Policy, etc.).
  • Maintain updated knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms.
  • Monitor and maintain export incentives and licenses.

Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments (Purchase, Production, Accounts, and Stores).
  • Negotiate freight and shipping rates with logistics service providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and transporters.

Cost & Process Optimization

  • Monitor and control logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Streamline and implement best practices in import/export procedures.
  • Track and monitor shipments, resolve transit issues, and ensure on-time delivery.

Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain MIS for imports/exports, shipping schedules, customs duty payments, and freight cost analysis.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding shipment status and logistics performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or MBA in Import-Export Management (with strong documentation knowledge).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain, with at least 5 years in import-export operations in a manufacturing industry (preferably oil & gas equipment or heavy engineering).
  • Strong knowledge of export-import documentation, DGFT, FEMA, Customs regulations, EPCG, and Incoterms.
  • Experience in handling ODC (Over-Dimensional Cargo) shipments will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
