Role Overview PhantomFX is looking for a talented Mid -Rigging Artist to join our creativeteam. The ideal candidate will design and develop production -ready rigs forcharacters, creatures, and props, ensuring they are animator -friendly andoptimized for performance. You will collaborate closely with animators,modelers, and technical artists to maintain high -quality standards whilemeeting production deadlines. Job Type: 3Months Contract Location: Chennai (WFO)Immediate Joiners Only Responsibilities • Design and create robust rigs for characters, creatures, and props. • Collaborate with animators and technical artists to ensure rigs meet animation andproduction goals. • Troubleshoot rigging issues, provide efficient solutions, and optimize rigsfor performance. • Execute facialrigging, skinning, and weight painting to deliver smooth deformations. • Develop and maintain tools and scripts (Python, MEL, etc.) to streamline riggingworkflows. • Maintain efficiency,quality, and animator usability across rigs. • Deliver rigs on schedule while ensuring production readiness and high standards.    Requirements• Minimum 3+years of professional rigging experience in VFX, animation, or game production. • Proficiency in Maya, Houdini, Blender, or other 3D software. • Strong knowledge of skinning, weight painting, deformation techniques, and rig optimization. • Experience in facial rigging and handling complexcharacter/creature rigs. • Ability to script(Python, MEL, etc.) to automate rigging processes. • Strong problem -solvingand debugging skills. • A collaborative,proactive attitude with the ability to take feedback positively. • Strong work ethic and proven ability to meet deadlines with high -quality outputs.  Benefits• Work -lifebalance: Saturdays, Sundays, and festive holidays off. • Collaborativeand energetic environment with supportive staff and management. •       In -housetraining programs to enhance both technical and soft skills, leadershipabilities, and professional growth. • Fun -filled events,stress -buster activities, and ice -breaking sessions to keep the workplacelively. • Relocationassistance for employees moving from other locations. • Modernworkstations and facilities designed to maximize comfort andproductivity.
