Job Title: Senior Executive – Accounts Collections

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Andheri East, Mumbai (Work from Office)

Reporting To: Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Accounts Collections who will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues, maintaining customer ledgers, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and supporting accurate reconciliation of receivables. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing end-to-end collections operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage collections and follow-ups for outstanding invoices across customers and regions.
  • Maintain customer aging reports and monitor overdue accounts.
  • Communicate with clients via email and calls to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes.
  • Coordinate with the Billing, Sales, and Operations teams to reconcile billing or collection discrepancies.
  • Prepare and share weekly/monthly collection MIS reports with management.
  • Support in accounts receivable reconciliation, ensuring all receipts are properly recorded in Tally/ERP.
  • Escalate critical payment delays and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections, adjustments, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in audit requirements related to receivables and customer accounts.
  • Contribute to improving collection efficiency and reducing the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance preferred).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP or other accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, Retail, or Service-based industry preferred.
