About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced
Production Manager
with a strong background in the
home furnishing export industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing daily production operations to ensure timely delivery and quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage
    day-to-day production activities
    in the manufacturing unit.
  • Prepare and implement
    daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
    .
  • Coordinate with cutting, stitching, finishing, and packaging teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production output and ensure timelines are met as per buyer requirements.
  • Work closely with merchandising, quality, and planning departments for order execution.
  • Ensure compliance with
    export standards
    , quality norms, and documentation requirements.
  • Handle workforce management, shift scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain production reports, daily MIS, and output tracking.
  • Ensure inventory of raw materials & trims is available as per production needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience
    in production management.
  • Mandatory experience in an export house
    (preferably home furnishings).
  • Strong knowledge of home furnishing products such as pillows, bedding, quilts, cushions, throws, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of production cycles, timelines, and export processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with MIS reporting, production planning, and workflow monitoring.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of quality standards & compliance for export markets.
  • Ability to coordinate with vendors and external production units.
  • Strong follow-up, planning, and execution ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, production software, or ERP (if applicable).
