We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the entire manufacturing process within our textile/garment unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing resources, and leading the production team to achieve output and delivery targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Supervise and manage day-to-day operations on the production floor.
  • Coordinate with cutting, stitching, finishing, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
  • Manage manpower allocation and ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols.
  • Maintain records of production schedules, raw material usage, and finished goods.
  • Ensure quality checks are followed at every stage of production.
  • Liaise with the design, merchandising, and procurement teams for timely order execution.
  • Train and guide production staff to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Diploma in Textile, Apparel Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in textile or garment manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of garment production processes (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing).
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and production management tools preferred.
