Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our core team in Bengaluru. You will play a critical role in designing and building the end-to-end infrastructure that powers our AI-driven SaaS product. This position requires a strong foundation in both backend and frontend development, as well as a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with our product managers, AI engineers, and designers to bring intelligent, high-impact features to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the engineering team of FastTrackr AI.
  • Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python (FastAPI) and React (or similar frameworks).
  • Build and optimize APIs that support real-time AI-powered workflows, including document parsing, data enrichment, and task automation.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and responsive frontend experiences tailored for financial professionals.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML and data engineering teams to integrate external data sources (e.g., financial documents, market data, CRM systems).
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and performance improvements.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and security best practices, including those required for SOC 2 certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, particularly FastAPI (or Flask/Django), and React, , or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools (Docker, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a clear, structured approach to software development.
  • Experience working in an agile product development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in financial services or B2B SaaS (good to have).
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows or data-driven applications.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and compliance frameworks.
