Job Summary:
We're looking for a strategic and analytical Purchase Manager to manage the procurement
process. This position is a key management position and the selected candidate will directly
work with top management of the company.
The candidate will get exposure in the new age distribution business, emerging technologies
and will be part of a young and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement process: Takes care of the procurement process end to end, to ensure
sufficient stock levels all the time. Develop and implement purchasing strategies that
align with business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely
delivery.
Supplier management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating
contracts, pricing, and terms that meet business requirements.
Purchase order Management: Manage the purchase order process and resolving any
discrepancies or issues.
Inventory management: Ensure optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and
overstocking.
Cost optimisation: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process
improvements, implementing changes that benefit the business.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory
requirements.
Skills & Experience Required:
Good written communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficient on Advance Excel, writing emails, and handling billing softwares.
Relationship builder and understanding of pricing and procurement process.
Graduate in Commerce or Science stream
