Operations Executive

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Back-End Operations Executive to support our transportation operations team. This role involves managing and optimizing the backend processes that ensure smooth, efficient, and timely delivery of transportation services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling logistics data, managing documentation, and supporting the team in operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transportation activities, including shipments, vehicle logs, and driver performance. Process and organize transport-related paperwork (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, delivery receipts). Prepare and track various reports, including transport status, schedules, and key performance metrics.
• Coordination & Scheduling: Coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and third-party vendors to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Assist in the scheduling of transportation routes, considering efficiency and cost optimization. Monitor real-time operations and resolve discrepancies related to schedules, deliveries, and drivers.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Provide feedback to senior management on bottlenecks and recommend solutions for smoother operations.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant industry regulations, including safety standards and licensing requirements. Verify driver compliance with company policies and regulations, including the accurate submission of logs, hours of service, etc.
• Customer Support & Communication: Provide support to the customer service team by responding to inquiries and resolving transportation-related issues. Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding delivery timelines, delays, and any other concerns.
• System Management & Reporting: Use transportation management software and tools to track shipments, vehicle assignments, and driver availability. Generate and analyze operational reports, highlighting performance metrics such as on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and cost management.
• Problem Resolution: Act as the point of contact for resolving transportation-related issues, including delays, equipment failures, and route adjustments. Support the operations team in troubleshooting and resolving any operational roadblocks.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in operations or back-end support within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or related software.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in handling documentation and operational tasks.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication both written and verbal.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues and proactively find solutions.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working Conditions

Office-based, with occasional field visits (if applicable).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
