Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations in the manufacturing unit by coordinating between departments, optimizing production flow, maintaining quality standards, and managing workforce performance to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Control

· Plan daily and weekly production schedules based on order requirements.

· Coordinate with production, purchase, and store departments to ensure material availability.

· Track production targets and ensure timely completion.

· Maintain records of output, wastage, and downtime.

2. Process & Efficiency Management

· Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production and supply chain processes.

· Implement lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques.

· Monitor machine utilization and manpower productivity.

· Suggest cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.

3. Team & Workforce Management

· Supervise production and support staff to ensure discipline and efficiency.

· Plan shift rotations and leave schedules without affecting productivity.

· Conduct daily briefings to align team on targets and priorities.

4. Inventory & Resource Coordination

· Work with the purchase and store teams for timely availability of raw materials.

· Maintain accurate records of stock levels and consumption.

· Ensure minimal wastage and proper material handling.

5. Quality & Compliance

· Coordinate with the Quality Control team to maintain product standards.

· Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes and equipment.

6. Reporting & Documentation

· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on production, manpower, and output.

· Support management with data-driven insights for decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Operations, Production, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).

2–5 years of experience in operations
