Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Python Lead
to drive the design, development, and delivery of robust software solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in Python, cloud platforms, databases, and deployment pipelines while effectively leading and mentoring a team of engineers. You will be responsible for architectural decisions, coding best practices, performance optimization, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead and guide a team of Python developers through all phases of the SDLC.
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems.
  • Establish coding standards, enforce best practices, and conduct code reviews.
  • Provide technical direction, troubleshoot complex issues, and make design decisions.

Backend Development

  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components using Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI).
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Build integrations with third-party services, tools, and internal systems.

Cloud & Deployment

  • Design and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Manage cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Database Management

  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Design database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure high availability.
  • Implement data migration and backup strategies.

Team & Work Management

  • Mentor, coach, and support junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Manage workload distribution, sprint planning, and task prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
