Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as National Sales Head. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in wealth management, financial advisory services, and portfolio management with a deep understanding of investment strategies, financial planning, and client relationship management.

This role requires strong leadership, business development skills, and the ability to deliver customized financial solutions to high-net-worth clients, and create a pan India teams of sales executives.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory & Relationship Management:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW & UHNW clients by providing tailored investment strategies with wealth products like Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Insurance, and others.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring high levels of trust and satisfaction.

Team Building

  • Apart from developing your own client book, you will be responsible for creating and managing a strong sales team based in Mumbai as well as across key regions in India.
  • Assign and monitor individual & regional targets. Track performance against set KPIs, provide timely feedback, and implement corrective measures where needed.
  • Regularly review sales performance, pipeline, and revenue generation. Prepare MIS reports for senior management on team productivity, client acquisition, and overall business performance.

Investment Strategy & Portfolio Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive wealth management strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Stay updated with financial market trends, regulatory changes, and investment products.
  • Offer guidance on asset allocation, tax optimization, estate planning, and risk management.

Business Development & Revenue Generation:

  • Identify new business opportunities, acquire new clients, and expand the company's market share.
  • Develop strong referral networks through partnerships, events, and client recommendations.
  • Work towards achieving revenue and AUM (Assets Under Management) targets.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure strict compliance with SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, and company policies.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for clients, investment portfolios.
  • Maintain accurate client records, KYC compliance, and periodic financial reviews.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in wealth management, Investment Banking, or financial advisory, having proven track record of building own clientele as well as team management.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, mutual funds, alternative investments, insurance, tax planning, and estate planning.
  • Excellent networking and business development skills with a proven track record in client acquisition.
  • Proficiency in financial tools, CRM platforms, and Excel-based financial modeling.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
