Senior Manager Finance Accounting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts to lead our finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring financial health, regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in financial management, analytical thinking, and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

o   Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

o   Develop and implement financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.

o   Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

o   Provide insightful financial reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

Accounting & Reporting:

o   Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll.

o   Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant regulations.

o   Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

o   Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Treasury & Cash Management:

o   Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital efficiently.

o   Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cash utilization and investment.

o   Manage banking relationships and facilities.

Taxation & Compliance:

o   Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (e.g., Income Tax, GST, TDS).

o   Oversee timely filing of all tax returns and assessments.

o   Stay updated on changes in tax laws and advise management on potential impacts.

o   Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliances.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

o   Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

o   Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations.

o   Develop and update financial policies and procedures.

Team Leadership & Development:

o   Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.

o   Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.

o   Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Strategic Support:

o   Provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, business development, and investment decisions.

o   Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.

o   Participate in special projects as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

·       Chartered Accountant (CA) is desirable.

·       MBA in Finance from a reputed institution is highly desirable.

·       Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 6 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within the  technology, manufacturing sector.

·       Proven experience with Ind AS.

·       Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

·       In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws (direct and indirect).

·       Excellent proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP).

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential with AI applicability. 

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

·       Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

·       Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
