Job Description: Tasks may vary based on position selected for:

• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, IPSEC,)
• Monitors network topologies; develops and evaluates alternative utilization or configuration options.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including firmware, service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Monitor system resource utilization, latency, bandwidth, availability, system resource trending, and other major metrics of network performance.
• Provide level-2 support for network connectivity issues and troubleshoot to resolution.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Liaise with other IT personnel and third-party vendors to resolve major outages and connectivity issues.
• Continuously develops processes and programs to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Conducts network testing, supervises technology insertion, and evaluates developmental software applications.
• Work with Development teams to ensure cloud connectivity and services are configured correct and follow best practices for security controls.
• Strong knowledge of cloud network connectivity resources including application firewalls, virtual firewalls, express route configuration, VNets, network security groups, VPN, private DNS, etc.
• Assist with configuration and testing of network devices for existing remote sites and all newly acquired sites.
• Ensure network security by analyzing, evaluation and pen testing of existing architecture and remediate and all findings as necessary.

Core Competencies :-

Good exposure on Cisco products such Cisco ACI, Nexus

Network or Security Terminologies- Security concepts-

Ability to adapt/improvise and take ownership

Technical Experience:

• Degree qualified in a relevant field (B.E, B. Tech, Computer graduate) or equivalent experience in Implementation & troubleshooting on Network Devices is essential.
• Relevant Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), CCNP will be advantageous.
