Senior/Principal Product Manager –AIThe Opportunity
We're looking for a highly skilled Senior/Principal Product Manager to join our Product Management team. In this role, you'll help shape the future of our AI platform by defining, building, and scaling AI-powered capabilities that improve employee experience across the Simpplr platform.
You'll work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent features, services, and models that power personalized, contextual, and action-oriented experiences for our users. From AI-driven content discovery and conversational experiences to intelligent automation and predictive insights, you'll help drive the strategy and execution behind the next generation of AI capabilities for Simpplr.
This role requires good technical fluency in AI and ML concepts, APIs, and enterprise SaaS products. You'll be responsible for translating complex AI capabilities into scalable product features that drive tangible customer outcomes.
Your job responsibilities: what you will be doingCollaborate with the engineering and product leadership teams to define and execute the roadmap for Simpplr's AI platform and services.
Partner with product managers and designers to identify high-impact AI use cases across the employee experience platform, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Define product requirements, user stories, and success metrics for AI-driven features and services.
Work closely with AI engineers and data scientists to translate product requirements into AI model designs, APIs, services, and integrations.
Prioritize AI initiatives based on customer impact, technical feasibility, and business value, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Setup evals to assess AI feature performance, model accuracy, and user experience improvements.
Develop frameworks and guidelines to responsibly govern AI usage, ensuring accuracy, fairness, security, privacy, and explainability in AI-driven experiences.
Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams to drive AI feature adoption, enablement, and customer education.
Stay current with AI, ML, and GenAI trends, frameworks, and responsible AI practices, proactively identifying opportunities to improve and differentiate Simpplr's platform.
Be a subject matter expert on enterprise AI productization, providing internal guidance and thought leadership across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Product management experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML-driven products or platforms.
Strong technical acumen with a foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, GenAI, embeddings, LLMs, model governance, and AI API integration patterns.
Experience working closely with AI engineering, data science, and product design teams to ship AI-powered product features.
Proven ability to translate complex AI technologies into scalable, customer-facing product capabilities.
Experience working with AI/ML APIs, GenAI models, NLP frameworks, and responsible AI practices.
Experience building and scaling product with Natural Language User Experience (Prompt and conversation based)
Strong understanding of AI product metrics - including model accuracy, relevance, confidence scoring, latency, and user feedback loops.
Experience defining and managing AI product roadmaps and product requirements in agile development environments.
Excellent technical communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate AI product concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform product decisions and measure product performance.
A self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You have experience building AI/ML-powered features in employee experience, enterprise collaboration, or SaaS applications.
You've worked on products involving LLM integrations, content recommendations, AI search, conversational AI, or intelligent automation.
You have hands-on experience working with AI platforms (like Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Cohere) or integrating third-party GenAI models.
You have contributed to the development of AI governance frameworks or responsible AI practices within product organizations.
