Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, APIs, and workflows.
  • Write clean, efficient code with proper testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and data scientists on requirements.
  • Debug and resolve issues raised by business or downstream systems.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and share timely status updates.
  • Continuously learn new tools/technologies and follow project best practices.

Must have Skills

  • Good knowledge of Python basics.
  • Solid understanding of SQL (joins, CTEs).
  • Fundamentals of BigQuery design (partitioning, clustering, cost optimization).
  • Basics of cloud/serverless functions (e.g., Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, or Azure Functions).
  • Basics of Pub/Sub or similar messaging services.
  • Familiarity with Git (console, GitLab, or any Git software).
  • Hands-on experience with VS Code or any Python IDE.
  • Exposure to Data Studio/SSMS.
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebook or similar tools.
