Trainee design engineer

Role and responsibilities( female trainee design engineer)
:


• Develop detailed layout drawings that show the arrangement of formwork components (wall panels, slab props, beams, columns, scaffolding, etc.) for each phase of construction.


• Prepare shell plans according to the specifications and requirements of the clients


• Ensure the plans match the structural drawings and site conditions.


• Coordinate with Clients, project managers, and design team to understand site requirements and constraints.


• Modify shell plans as needed to suit site changes or unexpected obstacles.


• Design plans to use available formwork stock efficiently.


• Ensure shell plans follow safety standards and load-bearing requirements.


• Check that formwork systems can handle concrete pressure and loads safely.


• Assist in resolving any design or layout issues during construction.


• Keep updated records of shell plans for each floor/section.

Skills & Tools Required
:


• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software.


• Knowledge of structural principles


• Understanding of Structural Systems/Aluminium Formwork System


• Excellent written and verbal communication Skills


• Problem solving and Adaptability
