Core Responsibilities – Day-to-Day
1. Strategy & Planning
- Plan and manage all digital marketing deliverables and activities across content, SEO, ads, design, and social media.
- Develop and implement client-specific digital strategies aligned with their business outcomes.
- Break down high-level goals into weekly execution plans for the team.
- Conduct competitive analysis to refine positioning and opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for growth, improved performance, and higher ROI.
- Approve content themes, campaign angles, messaging pillars, and channel strategies before execution.
2. Daily Delivery Management
- Ensure clarity of daily priorities for all team members.
- Assign tasks with clear owners, deadlines, and deliverable definitions.
- Review all deliverables (content, creatives, ads, SEO outputs) before client submission.
- Resolve delays, dependencies, or bottlenecks immediately.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality delivery across all client accounts.
3. Quality Control
- Review content for clarity, structure, purpose, and alignment.
- Review creatives for messaging accuracy and consistency.
- Review SEO tasks for proper keyword usage, on-page structure, and search intent.
- Review ad campaigns for targeting logic, budgets, and creative performance.
- Maintain strict quality benchmarks across all outputs.
4. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead writers, designers, SEO specialists, and performance marketers.
- Train team members to improve thinking, creativity, and execution quality.
- Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly review meetings.
- Evaluate team performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and clear expectations across all roles.
5. Operational & Workflow Management
- Maintain and oversee the central task tracker for all accounts.
- Ensure real-time updates and transparency on progress and deadlines.
- Improve workflows, SOPs, and execution processes continuously.
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments to avoid backlog and confusion.
- Fix operational issues before they affect delivery.
6. Client Management & Business Growth
- Act as the strategic point of contact for clients.
- Communicate plans, progress, performance insights, and next steps with clarity.
- Convert client requirements into structured internal tasks.
- Support new business conversations when required.
- Work toward client retention through consistent delivery and strong strategic direction.
7. Performance Analysis
- Review performance across ads, social, SEO, and content metrics.
- Identify issues early and assign corrective tasks immediately.
- Prepare weekly insights, recommendations, and adjustments.
- Track performance trends to guide future strategy.
8. Problem Solving & Crisis Handling
- Step in to execute tasks when needed.
- Redistribute workload when a team member is blocked or unavailable.
- Identify and fix workflow breakdowns immediately.
- Anticipate challenges and create proactive solutions.
Ideal Requirements
Experience
- 5– 10 years in digital marketing.
- Minimum 3 years managing teams or leading multi-channel digital functions.
- Strong experience in a digital agency environment is preferred.
Core Skills
- Ability to build multi-channel digital strategies (content, SEO, ads, design, social).
- Strong understanding of performance and analytics.
- Ability to evaluate creative and content quality with clarity.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify gaps, make decisions, and guide the team effectively.
- Proficiency with Ads Manager, Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and project management tools.
