About the role: AI Leader

Position Summary
Carrier is seeking a highly experienced and visionary AI Leader to drive the strategic direction and execution of AI initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 15-22 years of experience in AI and related fields, with a proven track record of leading global AI projects and teams. This role will be pivotal in harnessing AI to enhance our product offerings, optimize operations, and deliver superior customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Carrier's business objectives.

• Identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and efficiency across various functions.

• Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a global team of AI specialists, data scientists, and engineers.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

• Project Oversight:

• Oversee the execution of AI projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest standards of quality and ethical considerations.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, marketing, and IT, to integrate AI solutions into existing processes and products.

• Research and Development:

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning. Promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

• Compliance and Ethics:

• Ensure all AI initiatives comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Advocate for responsible AI practices within the organization.

Required Skillsets

• AI/ML Algorithms:

• Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms and methodologies (10+ years).

• Data Architecture:

• Experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and data lakes (7+ years).

• Cloud Computing:

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (5+ years).

• Programming Languages:

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant programming languages (10+ years).

• Modern Innovative Technologies:

• Experience with advanced AI technologies such as deep learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision (7+ years).

• Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn (5+ years).

• Big Data Technologies:

• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka (5+ years).

• DevOps and MLOps:

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for AI deployment and monitoring (3+ years).

• Leadership Skills:

• Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams (10+ years).

• Strong project management skills and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously (7+ years).

• Strategic Vision:

• Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into AI solutions (5+ years).

• Experience in developing and implementing AI strategies at a global level (5+ years).

• Communication:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (10+ years).
